Our hope and prayer is that after viewing this web page you will consider joining us for a
worship service. My friend, it does not matter who you are or where you have been, Jesus
loves you and He gave His life that you should have eternal life.
If you have been turned away or turned off by other churches, I assure you that there is a
family waiting to love you and welcome you at A Journey In The Light Ministries. If you feel
empty inside and you know that something is missing, that is exactly how the woman felt that
Jesus met at the well that day. He knew she was lonely and felt empty. He told her of a life
giving water (which is Jesus), and He said If you will drink this water, you will never thirst again.
Come let Jesus give you what you have been needing for so long, a true lasting and loving

| What do we believe? It would be impossible to list everything, however it is simply said by: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, written word of God, and Salvation can only come through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. |
| What is our Mission Statement? As a diverse body of believers, through the commitment to our Lord and Savior, we are seeking to provide God’s hope and love to all. This is accomplished through: |
- Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Evangelism, education,
fellowship, community involvement, outreach, and missions:
- Ministering to all people, regardless of race, creed, age, sex, national origin,
or sexual orientation;
- Exposing non-believers to God’s Promise of everlasting life through Jesus
Christ, and God’s blessings in this (earthly) existence as well;
- Encouraging faithful ministry attendance by emphasizing the benefits of
Christian fellowship;
- Educating the body of believers in God’s uncompromised word, so that we
come to know Christ.

- Weekly or biweekly visitation schedule - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Tambourine class open to the public - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Has been completed with 4 members finishing.
- Sign Language Instruction open to the public - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Classes started - come join us anytime !!
- Starting a vocal choir
- Starting a Praise and Worship Ministry Team - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Getting the ball rolling with our "Light's Warehouse" - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Clothing Give-Away starts March 3!!
- A lunch ministry open to the public - ACCOMPLISHED!
- Lunches will be available on Saturdays too!!
- Booth at Woofstock to bless the pets
- More game nights and fellowship times with our UNITY churches - IN PROCESS!

Some of you may not know me so I will give a brief sketch of where the Lord has led me over
the past years. I grew up an Iowa Farm boy, and attended College in Nebraska, with basic
studies in Ministry and counseling. I was in the ministry for 20 plus years and during this period
had various duties. I worked in planting a new church, had a clown ministry and a prison
ministry. My family and I did music for revivals. During this time I also taught school on
occasion. My oldest son is in Management with Harrah’s, he and his wife have 5 children. They
live in Iowa. My youngest son is in law enforcement in Oklahoma. I also was a nurse for 20
years. My life has been one of helping others, touching lives and helping others find peace.
